CrossFit is a unique style of high intensity, cross-functional workouts. The workouts incorporate cardiovascular exercises, Olympic weightlifting and bodyweight / gymnastic skills. The intensity of each workout can be scaled to each individual’s comfort and ability level.
All CrossFit workouts are performed in group settings led by CrossFit-specialized, certified, trained instructors. Although at first, many are intimidated (hey, we’ve all been there), but you will quickly realize the community feel is immediate and unmatched at any big-box gym! When you are ready to add Olympic weightlifting, gymnastic movements and more intense conditioning to your workouts, it’s time to try CrossFit!
NewCov CrossFit is proud of our accomplishments! CrossFit is for athletes who wish to take training to the next level and in many cases compete in this amazing sport!
At NewCov, we have qualified teams and individuals to the CrossFit Regionals for six (6) years. Additionally, in 2014, we actually sent two (2) teams – which is a huge accomplishment, considering that less that 1% of CrossFit gyms worldwide are able to achieve this feat.
We offer several options for CrossFit training: Beginner, RX, Competition and even Kids classes!
