What made you decide to try CrossFit?
"Wanted to switch up my workouts and implement more cardio into my workouts."

"Remember my thoughts after the first week were is my body is falling apart."

"Row"

What's your LEAST favorite movement?
"Devils Press"

Any advice for those just getting started on their fitness journey?
"Slow is smooth and smooth is fast."

Would you like to give any shout outs to other members or coaches?
"Jenna and Taylor - both were a huge help in teaching me the new movements/techniques involved with CrossFit. And still an huge help and great teachers!"
How long have you been doing Fitcamp?
"Seven Months"

What made you decide to try Fitcamp?
"I was looking to make a commitment to fitness for myself and the 6-week challenge was too good of a deal to pass up. I live very close to Newport Fitness and had followed the gym on Instagram for a while!"

What did you think after your first workout?
"I thought, “Wow these people are nice!”. Multiple people asked if it was my first class and told me their stories about starting with the 6-week challenge as well. I felt way less intimidated knowing people had been in my shoes before."

What's your FAVORITE movement?
"Slam ball! It’s better than therapy."

What's your LEAST favorite movement?
"Band bicep curls. Hurts my hands!"

Any advice for those just getting started on their fitness journey?
"We all had a Day 1 once. Meet the people at the gym, the community keeps you coming back."

Would you like to give any shout outs to other members or coaches?
"Coach Adam! FitCamp wouldn’t be FitCamp without Coach Adam and his colorful stories. Truly, the programming is always interesting and fresh and in 6 months I have not lost interest."
